This is completely off-topic, but if Twitter can reinstate Trump, it's looking good for @ewoodhouse7 to also light up Twitter's servers someday.

Elon Musk’s reinstatement decisions - and the process thereof - are profit-driven, not principle-driven.

That’s why Twitter’s Covid-19 misinfo policy (last updated in Dec 2021) remains in place right now, and the suspensions associated therewith still in effect.

Musk is no hero; he’s a businessman.

Hard to have a lot of respect for a CEO who wouldn’t make the removal of this policy a priority.

Let's say "looking better." Restoring Trump's account generates a lot of traffic to the site. If a group of relatively high-profile people banned over covid band together and petition Musk, or whoever the CEO will be, maybe that person will listen.

If Musk has to be petitioned to get rid of that policy, he’s no different from his predecessors

Notably, “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” is not only theologically unsound, but exactly the *wisdom* that guided Pontius Pilate.
