"Not only are there holdover effects from COVID, but there is also the long-term degradation of your capacity to repair whatever tissues are under attack."
Where does he get this stuff??
They've had covid several times (according to tests they say not to trust).
The covid illness is negligible (yet ultimately deadly).
You are "panicking" if you wear a mask outside (but you still need to take covid very seriously indeed).
They say everything AND its opposite.
Everything would be OK if only "they" were to tell everyone to Do Everything Outside All the Time!!! Loophole!
Listening to them is like trying to keep track of the rules to Calvinball.
Jessica, how could you sit through it? Ugh! But thank you! Seeing it in writing... what a bunch of garbage. I stopped watching them long time ago. I just can’t stand listening to either one anymore. Pompous asses both of them.
Have you ever attended a university? They are just rather typical, run-of-the-mill academics - this was why I stopped going to lectures and just borrowed the books from the library.....
I did... had to take psychology which was partly ok and sociology 1 course only THANK GOD. The main prof came to class drunk, and it was the most useless garbage ever. Bret does remind me of some of my less interesting profs
Whatever I and my family had in early November turned the covid test positive. After nearly four years (in which I never became ill with anything), it was unexpected and surreal. It would be accurate to say I was cavalier, but I did believe there was something infecting people and it wasn't the usual stuff. We did not take the jabs.
While there was cross over between our symptoms (fever, cough), there was also variety. My husband had a wicked sore throat and buckets of phlegm. I did not, but I had a queasy feeling in my chest that responded to ivermectin (I felt it work; it was quite dramatic). I also had violent sneezing, and I'm pretty sure my kidneys were taking a hit 'cause I was up all night making trips to the bathroom and guzzling water. Four about a week or so after, everything I ate tasted salty. It took me a while to figure out it was me and not the food. Our daughter, mercifully, had a milder course; but it wasn't nothing.
I'm baffled by the obsession with Weinstein this week. He had a conversation with Carlson. He said some stuff that was unexpected. He said some stuff that conflicted (180 degrees) with prior statements. Lots and ad hominem directed at Weinstein and Carlson. Lots of speculation about whether he and Carlson (and Kory and insert-name-here) are controlled opposition.
I do think Weinstein and many other so-called "thought leaders" in the so-called medical freedom movement should address their flip-flops...in every interview because you never know who's listening or watching...and because, when they don't, people don't trust them. And then Substack-Land spends the week arguing about nothing and spinning its wheels while the monster creeps on.
I was, perhaps, the first person to push back when I realized the early reports on the Weinstein-Carlson conversation had misrepresented it. I wasn't defending Weinstein or Carlson. I don't know if either or both are controlled opposition. I don't care. I was attacked personally by some writers whom I've supported financially for quite some time. How dare I think the wrong thoughts? How dare I fail to come to preapproved opinion? It was eerily familiar.
These writers failed to understand that I wasn't making commentary on Weinstein's or Carlson's trustworthiness. I don't trust anyone in this space even when I know their name and CV. After the past four years of insanity, I'd be a fool to do otherwise. If an author misrepresents an interview or article, I start to wonder about them. Was it an oversight? A blind spot? Or something else? Did they feel pressure to produce? I pay the same amount to Mate and Mearsheimer and Hersch, who put out an article every couple of weeks.
I don't like when people try to manipulate me. While I was good at spotting it before the plandemic, my skills are finely honed now. I often choose to ignore it. This time I didn't. It was at once fascinating and horrifying to watch it all play out. As Yogi Berra said, it was deja vu all over again. No tolerance for people who don't fall in line and think the "right" thoughts.
So, I'll get to my point. I have posted this question several times over the last couple weeks (ever since I learned about the Kyoto study). Is this real? The response? Crickets. Lots on cyber ink spilled on Weinstein's conversation with Carlson. Lots of dredging up of old interviews where he said stuff that conflicts with his current positions. Lots or speculation and invective and ad hominem hurled my way. I've gotten it from both sides. Apparently, some in this space felt the need to run defense for Weinstein and accused me of attacking him.
Seriously, what is going on? I read a number of substacks. I support a number of substacks. Of late, I've seen attacks on Kory and McCullough and Weinstein and Carlson and insert-name-here. Apparently, they're all controlled opposition and not to be trusted. Really? 'Cause I wouldn't have known how to treat covid without Kory and McCullough, and I wouldn't have had the medications if McCullough and TWC hadn't made it possible to get an emergency kit. So, I'm grateful.
I've read several articles questioning hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Why? I used ivermectin, although I couldn't convince my husband or daughter to take it. I think it works. I'll take it again if needed. Why are some people attacking these safe drugs...now, when perhaps the globo-monster is setting up for round two of whatever this was? Is it because the drugs are associated with Kory and McCullough? Should I not take fever reducers or vitamin D 'cause it's in their treatment protocols? Do we have chaos agents in our midst?
Something very odd is going on in this part of Substack-Land.
This is unintentionally hilarious.

Also, Heather was sick in this broadcast? By what definition?
And they had to come outside to record because....?
Tested positive according to the unreliable test!
No, they did she DIDN'T test!
Actually, I can't tell. It's not clear if she took an unreliable test or not.
Twilight zone.
Some kind of aberrant virtue signalling.
I cannot bear listening to their convoluted intellectual masturbation
::spews coffee::
Good way of putting it. They seem to have scrambled eggs for brains. That, or they're trying to make scrambled eggs of OUR brains.
