Please. Please. Please.

Vote this out of touch elite out of office. I might consider staying in this rotten state if he is voted out.

I can’t believe anyone would vote for him. Truly depressing. I assume we can sue when he tries to mandate it? How many more people will leave IL over this? He is never going to stop his assault on parents and children.

He will never stop, and I will never stop fighting him, as long as he’s in charge.

Let him bring a child vax mandate. He’s gonna hear the Mama Bear roar very, very clearly.

You can't believe anyone would vote for him? Please, the amount of information gate keepers in today's society that push a narrative is done on purpose. The entire news media, social media, etc. all push the "group think". So how is a low information voter supposed to see thru all this chaf? They don't, they simply keep their head buried in the sand and do what the other lemmings do. THAT is true power, the ability to persuade and control thru group think. Heck look at COVID, the same group who gets bent about some perceived discrimination had no problem getting in your face to don your mask or get the jab.

So now we move forward to the election where low information voters are the majority in Chicago. They want to keep the status quo, the want to keep their ways unchanged, so they continue to vote in the best charlatan in the race.

Parents fought back against HPV vax being added to the Children’s Immunization Schedule with thousands of comments submitted to JCAR. Can only imagine how many will fight this!

Disgraceful excuse of a human being and still no shame after Judge Grischow deemed his Emergency Orders illegal and Mandates evil. Parents need to remember, no one can force the jab (any jab) and consent is required. IL has medical and religious exemptions which by law have to be honored. Have had mine ready to file for a while because it’s IL and saw this coming.

He has recently said that the government should not get between a woman their doctor. Stands to reason that includes a kid, a woman, and their doctor.

CDC has released little data on kids vax.

The accuracy of his experts leaves alot to be desired. Are they the same ones saying the state has a balanced budget??

As much as I would like him out, I realize where I live and that he is likely to be re-elected. What realistic success would I have for a religious exemption?

Not sure; the Pritzker regime doesn’t respect religion until forced.

Will the religious schools of Illinois stand against such an attempt to require, I wonder?

They didn’t stand against much else.

They aren’t nearly as likely to question/ push back on religious vaccine exemptions. In the end it’s up to parents to protect their kids, and this is one avenue. Where there is a will, there is always a way. I’m shocked how many lack the will to find the way, but lacking will to find a way is not the same as there not being a way.

I meant standing against the requirement to start.

Why should have to file a religious exemption? What if someone has a straight-up moral or philosophical objection? Or an objection based on science and data?

I don’t think anyone should have to justify not wanting to inject something into their body. I don’t think anyone who has glanced at the actual data would inject this covid mRNA crap into their bodies. I also don’t think anyone should be banned from going anywhere for refusing to dehumanize their faces like a Taliban woman to appease morons who can’t define “aerosol.”

Unfortunately we lost the 2020 election and a lot of people voted for politicians that think they, and big pharmacy, get full rights to our bodies. It’s funny that Democrats run on exaggerated threats of what Republicans might do to balance the interests of 2 bodies in places few Democrats actually live while Democrats are the ones who already proved excited to violate nearly everyone’s individual bodily autonomy. Sad how many fall for the nonsense.

Until we can wrestle back some personal freedoms from the jaws of the woke cult, working around their rules and exploiting loopholes is a means to an end to protect ourselves and our children.

My kids are in a top ranked conservative private Christian school that was mostly mask free, in person full time all but April/ May 2020 (when NC was in complete lockdown), and sent out an email to parents as soon as vaccines became available for “educators” reminding us it’s none of our business who is or isn’t vaccinated and the school isn’t going to violate HIPPA by asking staff. I found it odd at the time they outright said there will never be a mandate for anyone at the school (silly me, I didn’t think mandating experimental drugs would catch on). The school has stood its ground. Even pre-Covid they accepted religious exemptions from vaccination without question. These top tier schools don’t only attract the faithful, they also attracted the well read who see it as a way to avoid decades of creeping authoritarianism and totalitarian indoctrination in public, some charter, and far too many private schools.

This was our way and in place pre-plandemic. Everyone has needs to find their own way. But we also need to remember there is nearly always a way (not a cost free way, but a way). Humans create the rules to control people and other humans find ways to walk right around their rules while refusing to be controlled.

You're blessed to live in a state/area where Christian schools stood against government overreach.

Because in IL the law does not allow any objection other than those informed by sincerely held religious beliefs - which do not have tied to a specific religious tenet btw …and your kid’s doc needs to sign a form saying they informed you of the risks. Pretty sure it was Rauner who made it this strict - used to not be that big of a deal to object. Still not impossible though.

It’s up to the school. Most accept exemptions. It’s hard to find a doctor in Illinois that will sign one though. (We don’t vaccinate, and have homeschooled. I know of a doctor in Chicagoland area but no one near me without a 2 year waitlist)
