Perhaps you haven't had experience with these sorts of presstitutes before?
I have - for decades.
In fact, this email has been repeated (nearly word for word - it's a script) by Australian 'journalists' who have contacted me for comment over the last 20+ years.
I learned early on that they really did NOT want to know what I thought about vaccines or why I was questioning them and asking others to do the same.
What they were actually looking for was a quote they could take out of context, words they could twist to suit their agenda, and anything they could use to make it look like the anti-choice side was right.
I began to write to them simply saying - whatever I say, you will write what you want, so go your hardest without comment from me. I won't waste my time writing your article when you are too lazy, corrupt or unintelligent to do your own research.
Of course, they did not care for this, but it was true.
My grandfather worked for NBC News for 35 years, and I actually do have experience with these inquiries during the COVID Era -- one of which was aimed at my husband and I both and was very hard to NOT respond to, but we decided against it and (we felt) as a result, the "story" was reduced to a very minor blurb about nothing. (Edit/Clarification: I did not come into 2020 as anti-vaccine, or even particularly "pro" - the press inquiries were about stances we had taken on another issue and were made because of my advocacy against COVID era "mitigations)
But I'm speaking less to individual situations here than I am trying to draw attention to the fact that this is very clearly a coordinated/staged effort that benefits the authors and Substack investors. All press is good press.
I think you're absolutely right to keep it short and sweet. If they genuinely wanted information from you, they wouldn't send you conclusions ahead of time and ask you to comment.
That said, I hope they mention you by name, to give you more publicity.
Appreciate the compliment but (to clarify) I don't want this post to be construed as jealousy on my part. It's not at all and I have said in recent weeks that I am looking to leave Substack and have been concerned for well over a year about changes to it and how it has been used in the COVID era by military/intel.
I'm in a weird spot because I am analytical of many facets of the COVID operation in real time...but I'm also a contributor/player in the arena.
I am not a journalist; I'm a researcher who believes that "press" and related 1A rights have (over time) been misconstrued as belonging to certain people or created a "thing" called "the press." In fact, "press" is "printing press" and Americans ALL have free press rights.
What I am hoping is that people can see this Nature "episode" for what (I believe) it really is. Who are the producers of these Truman Show episodes?
There are Ops on all sides; at this point, I'm deeply saddened by it and by so many things I wish I'd realized sooner.
People simply have not been honest. Many need to confess, repent, and come clean. They know who they are, and they now know I know, hopefully.
Cui bono?

(Edited to remove personal mention)
It's great that these topics are now no longer taboo.
They shit the bed with COVID. 😂 💩
It feels like they're outing big pharma pretending like they were the ones who corrupted the regulation systems.
Oopsie, we got controlled, please trust us now. 😂
It's worse than that, believe me.
Confessions and true repentance are the way out
Same as it ever was
I don't think humanity will forget. It's etched in our epigenetics. They poisoned us and lied to us.
It's going to get good because people are less apt to follow the crowd.
The chaos they used to control us made us much smarter than they are.
People are developing a real sense of self.
Perhaps this is the second coming?
No more slaves no more masters 😊

In my area of interest, contemporary China, Nature's editorials are 'Bad China' flavored. So it is certainly susceptible to political influence.
