I started thinking of lockdowns and, especially, commonplace masking outdoors and indoors, as a nightmare pretty early on. For parents who felt that way, I suppose trying to forget, declining to talk about it, not criticizing daycare or school leadership, or one's friends and relatives for, say, imposing vaccine and/or testing requirements for birthday parties--those are ways to cope and move forward.
I posted it on FB and they are clearly suppressing and hiding it. Not one like or comment.
